Congratulations to everyone on finishing another spectacular school year. Now, hello Summer! Soak in the deliciousness of this moment, knowing it’s but the first of many sun-filled summer days waiting to be savored. It’s time for a slower pace, family vacations, more outside time, rest, and relaxation!
Down Home will be taking the next two weeks off for some much needed R&R as well. We will return on Monday, July 2nd with posts on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays for the remainder of the summer. Come back then to see what our summer theme will be…
A final note from Jenny: It’s been a true honor and delight to be at the helm of Down Home for the past 6 years, serving our families and learning alongside all of you on the home front. However, I’m excited to announce that we will have a new Blog Curator when we return! I’m not going far – I’ll be working for SLOCA’s High School, and you’ll hear from me on occasion. But I am thrilled to pass on the baton to Track B mom Cheryl McCabe, who will take over as Down Home Blog Curator in July. Hooray!
I hope all of our readers will welcome Cheryl and shower her with encouragement, suggestions, photos, testimonials, and support, just as you’ve done all along. Down Home is a special little corner of the Internet and we are so pleased to bring Cheryl on board!
