Happy Friday to all! Though we are only finishing week 2, you’ll be amazed how quickly the year flies by. The quote above is all too true, so we want to regularly encourage you to take the time to look up, look around, and lean in to this extraordinary year with your kids, and with our SLOCA community. This is what Free by 5:00 Fridays are all about.
Today it should be fairly easy to be Free by 5:00 if you’re planning on coming to the Back to School BBQ tonight at Cuesta Park, which starts at 5:30 pm. Put aside the digital distractions, come connect with friends and classmates, and get to know some SLOCA families that you haven’t met. We hope to see you there!
