Our signature hybrid program, which is part-time classroom and part-time home instruction, provides an engaging education for preschool through middle school (with full time options available). End of the Western Roman Empire

the Huns

Happy Labor Day! Whether you are getting together with friends and family, traveling, picking up last minute school supplies, or just enjoying down time, we hope you are off to a great start! In addition, we hope you can catch a quick breather before we dive back in. But first, if you’d like to know more about this national holiday, here’s a quick overview on the history of Labor Day.

A reminder about Monday Mix-Ins before we get started on our resources: What we share here on Mondays is meant to further enrich your learning at home. These supplemental resources are optional and are not meant to give you “one more thing” to do. Our curriculum here at SLOCA is already incredibly rich and full. There is no pressure to read, watch or do all (or any!) of these resources. Therefore, utilize them in a way that will best fit your family’s dynamic and schedule.

Given these points, we do hope you find these links helpful if and when you do use use these resources. Enjoy!
