SUMMARY:Summer Camp WEEK 1+2: LEGO + Makerspace
DESCRIPTION:Join us with your imaginations for days of play using LEGOS and Makerspace supplies for going into 1st-6th graders. \nMonday-Friday\, 9-3pm\nCost: $450 (includes $50 supply fee) \nThis is not a 2-week commitment—sign up for both weeks or just one. \nCome and cultivate a love for building and engineering! Activities are modified for the age of your child to ensure they will both grow and enjoy their time at camp. This year\, both weeks of Lego/Makerspace camps will allow students to apply their skills in various settings.\n \nWeek 1 (6/16-20): As we go back in time to an era with knights and princesses\, your students will be using Legos and Makerspace Materials to build castles\, create shields\, personalize crowns\, and explore simple medieval machines. From pool noodle jousting to medieval feasting to making a coded Lego dragon\, this is a week you will not want to miss. We will also be reading some age-appropriate and classical medieval tales to immerse ourselves in the theme and provide us some time to relax and get inspired for our next adventure. \nWeek 2 (6/23-27): Around the World we go! During this Lego and Makerspace camp\, we will be learning about both natural and manmade wonders of the world as we give our best shot to both recreating these wonders and building new wonders of our own.
