SUMMARY:Summer Camp WEEK 5 + 6: Musical Theater
DESCRIPTION:Cost $775 for both weeks\nThis is a 2-week commitment; This camp is much more structured and requires that Friday the 31st has additional hours for the final show \nAge: going into 3rd grade-8th grade \nJoin us for musical theater camp! This 2-week course introduces students to various elements and principles used in the process of theater production and appreciation of theater arts. This course will help students stimulate creativity\, enhance empathy\, increase teamwork ability\, and develop self-confidence as they learn to act\, sing\, and dance in preparing a show to be performed on the last day of camp! This year’s show will be announced soon… \nImportant Location Information for 1st-8th Grade Camps: \nThis summer\, our camps for 1st-8th grade will be hosted at SLOCA High School while our lower school supplies are transitioned to our new campus. To make the most of this season\, we are offering optional off-campus lunch outings to local playgrounds in San Luis Obispo. Camp staff will safely transport students to and from the parks during the lunch break. \nFamilies who prefer their child to remain on campus may opt out of off-campus lunches. In this case\, students will enjoy supervised outdoor play using a variety of games and equipment on the high school campus. \nREGISTER BELOW!\n  \nMORE SUMMER CAMPS…\n \nJune 15th-19th/June 22nd-26th: Lego + Makerspace (1st-6th Grade)\n \nUsing LEGO® builds\, robotics\, and SLOCA’s Makerspace\, students will develop problem-solving skills and an engineering mindset through hands-on exploration. \nJuly 6th-10th/July 13th-17th: Adventure Camp/Fun in the Sun (1st-6th Grade)\n \nOff-site adventure every day exploring nature and the various geographical landscapes. \nJuly 20th-24th/July 27th-31st: Around the U.S. Camp (1st-4th Grade)\n \nJoin us for our NEW camp\, where students will wander the United States\, exploring other places with wonder\, interactive play\, crafts\, recipes\, literature\, and more! \n  \nLooking for more info on our camps?
