The Lego Challenge is a community-building event that encourages children to use their imaginations and work on their lego skills. It will include interactive team events as well as individual building opportunities. There will be judges from Hearst Castle and the SLO Art Museum, the students will have opportunities to win prizes, and there will be a bounce house!

Students will be read a story from Tom Sawyer, while listening to the wild adventures of Tom Sawyer and Huck Finn, they will be able to build a creation from their imagination based off of the story that is being told.
9:05 – 10:05a: First Build
10:05a: Break – bounce house provided!
10:30 – 11:30a: Second Build
11:30a: Prizes awarded!
Families can start arriving between 8:50 – 9a
If students are waiting during a build, they can utilize the bounce houses or playground with parent supervision.
School snack store will be open from 9a-12p.
Parent supervision is required, students may not be dropped off.
