Today’s Magical Moment comes to us from Anne Trott. Anne and her husband Tom are a first year family here at SLO Classical, with daughter Teagan in Kindergarten on Track A. Here is their memorable experience:
I just had to share a really sweet moment that I walked right into today. I had been reading with Teagan and my three year old Joshua and needed to take a break to start dinner. So the two of them headed outside with some books. I overheard Teagan say to Joshua to “come outside to the special book club.” So a few minutes later I went outside to check on them and found them reading through my childhood collection of Beatrix Potter books. They quickly invited me to be a part of their “book club,” and I just couldn't say no. So dinner prep waited just a bit and we sat outside and read together. I just love seeing the love of books forming in my children.
