Our holiday break is coming to an end, and we hope it has been a fun and relaxing time for you and your family. School starts Monday, so don’t forget to print your grids and get those backpacks ready! Let’s jump back into trimester two, resume our Hero’s Journey, and look forward to spending time with our kids, learning together.
Since it’s Friday, we’d like to remind you to take a “time out” from electronics for a bit. Whatever your family enjoys doing, do it together and protect that precious time.
Have you been up to San Simeon to see the elephant seals yet?
Here's another opportunity for this weekend: Patrick Camozzi, children’s singer and songwriter from Montreal, Canada will be performing at three local libraries as part of his first tour of the USA. Dubbed the “Neil Young for Kids”, he will bring original songs from his two albums “Even Kids Get the Blues” and “Even Kids go Country”. Come laugh, sing-a-long and even learn to play spoons to accompany this 2011 Nashville Songwriter’s Festival featured artist on guitar and harmonica. For all ages. This event is free, and the dates are:
Jan 4, 2:00 pm at the San Luis Obispo Library – 995 Palm St.
Jan 5, 11:00 am at the Atascadero Library – 6850 Morro Rd.
Jan 5,2:00 pm at the Arroyo Grande Library – 800 W. Branch St.
Have a great weekend – see you at school next Monday/Tuesday!
