Our third and final trimester is underway – how was your first week back in the saddle? In history, we’re heading into the Civil War and then the reconstruction era, and there’s lots going on at every level, so get ready to ride! But it’s Friday today, and that means time to rest and connect with loved ones. We encourage you to be Free by 5:00 at some point this weekend, to enjoy some down time, face to face conversations, and family togetherness.
Here are a few events going on around the county this weekend:
- Ongoing through April 12th – Frameworks Art Gallery in downtown SLO is currently featuring “The Great Repubic” exhibit, with rare flags, maps, and Americana from the late 18th century through the early 20th century. It's a great opportunity (think E&E!) to view some beautiful pieces that complement our studies this year! Visit their website for hours and more info.
- The 3rd Annual Santa Margarita Wildflower Festival – March 23-24, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM both days
- Downtown Paso Robles presents Hop To It: Meet the Easter Bunny – March 23. The Easter Bunny will be the guest of the Downtown Paso Robles Main Street Association from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Just come downtown to the City Park Holiday House (Park & 12th Streets). He'll be giving out Easter Eggs. Bring your camera and take your picture with the Easter Bunny.
- A SLO Symphony Family Concert – You to Zoo: A Magical, Moose-iscal Tour – March 24, 2:00 PM
Enjoy, everyone!
