I Madonnari is a two-day festival that happens each September in the Plaza of the Old Mission in SLO. Colorful, large-scale street paintings are created by artists (or “madonnari”) and young people. This year one of our art teachers, Caroline Vaccaro, was there creating a drawing of King Tut, with the help of a few SLOCA students. Here are some photos she captured that day:
