If you’ve spend any time on Pinterest or blogs looking for homeschool space ideas, you’ve probably seen amazing rooms like the one above. Or like this:

But for most of us, this isn’t our reality! Although there are certainly tons of fun ideas online to help you think through how to best organize and set up your homeschool area, wouldn’t you rather see the real homes of real people who are doing this SLOCA thing right alongside you? Wouldn’t it be fantastic to get an up-close and personal view and tour of how others have set up their home learning spaces? How about discussing what you see and how you’ve been inspired over a delicious lunch with other like-minded parents?
It’s not too late to join in our one-of-a-kind school room home tour, SLOCA-style! The Downhome Tour gives families a variety of ideas and suggestions, and a fresh vision on how to set up an organized, enriching, and thriving home classroom at your kitchen table or in a designated room or area in your home.
Our tour this year is happening this Saturday, September 28th, from 9am – 2pm, and will include three local North County homes. We invite you to join us! Tickets are $25 per person, and space is limited so sign up today in the office! For more info, email Cozy Faber.
There’s no better inspiration than seeing and hearing first-hand how others in our school community have made their space work for them, and sharing ideas with other families – we are all doing this together! We will learn from each other and have a lot of fun during this memorable day. We hope you can come along!
