Another Friday is here to greet us, and in case you aren’t keeping track, we only have two weeks of school left! This is the home stretch! Perhaps you feel like the photo above, that you are barely making it… hang in there!
In the hustle and bustle of these last school days, perhaps a few moments of “a snail’s pace” is a good thing. Take a period of time this weekend to slow down, disconnect from the gadgets and to-do lists (in spite of the progress reports to finish up and history costumes to assemble….) and just hang out with your family. Talk about both silly and important things, or do something you enjoy together.
As we wrap up our history studies next week with the fall of the Roman empire, here’s a history-related comic your kids will understand and enjoy – share this with them for a chuckle:
