Is your summer planned out or are you more of spontaneous non-planner? Most of us are probably somewhere in between, wishing to schedule a few activities, possibly a trip or two for summer but also wanting to relax and not have to DO anything.
Last week there was a great article on Simple Homeschool:

If you are still trying to figure out the best way to strike a balance this summer between rest, recreation, building relationships, and maybe a little learning, read this post for some great inspiration! Writer Kari Patterson talks about determining your family’s goals, being unconventional, being realistic, and my favorite: making the mundane memorable. She gives the honest reminder that…
“Too often we confuse special with spectacular. While we should always strive for special activities, we don’t need spectacular activities.”
So true! Check out the rest of her helpful post for more ideas and encouragement about planning simple yet intentional times with your family this summer.
What are your summer plans? How do you make your summer simple, yet memorable? Please leave a comment and share your thoughts!
