Welcome back to Down Home! We hope your summer is off to a great start, and that you’re enjoying a slower pace and time to both play and rest.
We now begin our summer time-traveling blog series (of sorts). Mondays this summer are going to focus on the PAST – meaning this past school year and some special moments that we just never got around to sharing on the blog during our regular Monday Magical Moments.
To start things off, we have photos from our most recent History Day. We came together to picnic on the lawn and watch our students perform the play Julius Caesar and scenes from Antigone. It was like our very own “Shakespeare in the Park” and it was a spectacular evening! We are so thankful to our amazing History Event Committee who pulled this all together. And thank you, parent photographers, for capturing the evening in photos.
(Some of the following photos were taken from our Flickr site, but the photographer is unknown. If they are your photos, please let me know and I’ll give you photo credit!)
