Down Home is hosting our first PET PHOTO Contest!
Do love taking photos of you puppies or kittens? Maybe you have a prize chicken that is particularly photogenic or an old dog who just knows how to pose for the camera! For any kids who have a passion for photography and a love of furry creatures, we have a fun opportunity for you!
Capture a photo of your favorite pet — jumping, playing, in a cute outfit or just snuggling up on your lap. Get creative and submit your entries for a chance to win $50 cash!

Entry forms are available online – click here – or pick one up in the SLOCA office at 165 Grand Ave,. SLO.
The deadline for all entries is April 30, 2015.
Photos must be the original work of an amateur photographer age 5-18. Size should range from 4×6 to 8×10 inches. Do not frame or mat the photos. Photos, entry forms and a $10 fee per photo should be mailed to (or brought in to):

More than one photo can be submitted but a completed entry form and $10 fee must accompany each photo.
Electronic submissions or electronically altered photos will not be accepted. Photos cannot be returned. Cheryl McCabe of Cheryl Suzanne Photography will be joining Tracy Waitkus, owner of Tracy Waitkus Photography, to judge the entries.
When judging the photos for the Pet Photo Contest, we will be looking for how creative the photographer was in capturing the unique and often fun or crazy qualities of the pet. So invite your friends — this contest is open to EVERYONE between the ages of 5 and 18!
