A couple of weeks ago the Hanging Lantern Review held their annual Spring Reading and Release party, to celebrate the third printed volume of this literary magazine featuring middle school and high school writers in SLO County.
The event was held at the enchanting Dallidet Adobe, which was the perfect, peaceful setting for this magical evening outdoors. Guests were treated to readings of poetry, short works of fiction, and essays by several young writers, and received a copy of the newest Hanging Lantern Review magazine (which are also available to purchase in the school store).
Thank you to all the friends, family and other supporters of the Hanging Lantern Review, to the students who wrote for and produced this beautiful magazine, and to Ms. Sarah Shotwell for advising and leading this group of amazing young people! All the hours and care that went into the print publication and the spring reading event were evident to all!
