No Sweat Summer Support

Want to do something good for our school over summer that only takes about 5 minutes? One of our SLOCA parents shared this email with her friends and family, and then shared it with us to pass on to other families who might want to encourage their loved ones to take these simple steps as well. 

Just like we gave you an example email to use during our fundraiser, here’s an example of an email you can use to send to anyone who you think might care to support our wonderful school in these remarkably easy ways:

Hello my wonderful friends!

I'm writing to ask that you consider a couple of ways of supporting <kids names> school, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy, while doing what you already are doing. It won't cost you a dime more than what you are already spending on life!

1. Do you shop on AMAZON.com?? Please consider bookmarking this link below and using it when shopping. When you shop on Amazon through this link, they donate 4-6% commissions back to SLOCA! Here's the link: http://www.amazon.com/?_encoding=UTF8&tag=sloclaaca-20

2. Do you shop at Target?? If you have a Target Red Card (which is NOT a credit card but a debit card that links directly with your bank account AND gives you a 5% discount every day, free shipping with online orders, and an extra 30 days for returns) you can assign a school to it and they will donate 1% of your purchases to SLOCA! 3. Box Tops! You probably recycle a ton of boxes with Box Tops on them and you don't even know it. Next time you go to throw a box in recycling (because I know you of course recycle and don't just throw a box in the garbage), look to see if it has a Box Top or two. If so, cut them out and stash them in an envelope, and when you've gotten a few, send them our way. These little guys really add up for our school!
