We're getting back to our Throwback Summer series today with fun family activity ideas from a few years ago. In 2012 Down Home ran a series called The ABCs of Summer. Below is the first post in the series, followed by links to every other letter of the alphabet, if you want to try this idea this summer!

Welcome to our first day of summer blogging!  Three days a week we will feature a different letter of the alphabet and offer ideas for things to do or make this summer. Without further ado….

2.  Add: Add a fun new summer tradition (Saturday s'mores, card game before breakfast, or ???)

5.  Arboretum: Visit Cal Poly's Leaning Pine Arboretum
