Here’s a short but SUPER sweet wonder for you all today, sent in by Merideth Eades, Track A mom of three and our Little Wonders Director and teacher. This is Sam, her youngest, a Jr. K student. He is “writing his narrative on Leonardo De Vinci.” This is one of the joys of having younger siblings at SLOCA – they see their older siblings engaged in learning, and they don’t want to be left out!
According to mom, the dialogue went something like this. Sam asked “How old was Leonardo DeVinci?” (Mom answered then he wrote it down.) “When did he die?” (Mom answered, he wrote it down.) Then he said he wrote: “He painted a painting.”
Sam also proceeded to circle all the verbs during older brother Luke’s grammar lesson.
So cute! Thanks for sharing this, Merideth – we all have big smiles now!
