If you're interested in the Monterey Bay Aquarium’s Home School Days for this school year, here's the scoop: Reservations for the 2016–17 school year will open September 14th at 9 am. That’s this Wednesday! Go to their website for more info, including the available dates, and important guidelines. This is also the page to visit on Wednesday to make your reservations. Last year, you had to choose an entrance time when you reserved your tickets, so think about that ahead of time and coordinate with any other families who might want to go with you. Also, a computer works better than a phone or tablet with their system.
One more note: they have an “online waiting room” that can be confusing, but here’s the info given by the Aquarium:
Due to the high demand for Home School Days reservations, we've set up an online waiting room that opens at 8 a.m. on September 14. You can join the waiting room at any time between 8 and 9 a.m. and it won't affect your chances of making a reservation. At 9:01 a.m., everyone in the waiting room will be randomly assigned a place in line to make a Home School Days reservation. If you click on the reservation link after 9:01 a.m., you will be placed at the end of the waiting room line.
Good luck!
