Integrity is this month’s character focus:
Having the inner strength to be truthful and trustworthy, acting justly and honorably, and being consistent in words and actions.
Catch phrase: Tell the truth. Keep your word.
The best way to instill this trait in our children is to model it in what we way (and how we say it), as well as in our actions. No big surprise there! It’s also important to discuss integrity with our kids, when we encounter it (or the lack of it) in literature, in the news, or in a real life situation.
