Happy Independence Day!!!
There is a lot going on in our area today and we will list some of those events below. But first, we wanted to highlight one of the most important documents in American history – the Declaration of Independence. If you haven’t done it before, try reading it out loud as a family!

- Templeton 4th of July Celebration in the Park – parade and live music
- Santa Margarita Annual 4th of July Celebration – parade, live music, games, art & craft fair and contests.
- Cambria 4th of July Picnic in the Park – relay races, pie-eating contests, kids games, live music and dancing!
- Cayucos Independence Day Celebration – sand sculpture contest, annual parade and fireworks.
- Morro Bay Family Fun Day – skateboard race, bike parade, paddle parade, live music and a magic show.
- Avila Beach on the 4th of July – doggie parade and a boat parade.
- Pismo Beach July 4th Celebration – they host close to 100,000 people showing off their grand fireworks display.
- Arroyo Grande Annual July 4th Concert – patriotic music and historical building tours.
- Santa Maria Fireworks Show – street festival, live music and a fireworks show.
