One of the unique features of our coastal area is the fact that while we have plenty of beaches up and down our coast, SLO County also offers plenty of mountainous terrain for our non-beach goers to enjoy. Here is a list of local hikes and trails you can explore! This list include hikes ranging from easy to very strenuous so please pay close attention to each hike’s difficulty rating prior to your family adventure.
Reservoir Canyon, pictured below, is a favorite among many locals. We know we probably missed many more so please comment below to add or if you have any favorites (anyone been to Big Falls recently?), we’d love to hear about those also!
