Welcome to October! We are halfway into our first trimester and students are now settled into their classroom and home routines. In class, we will finish up discussions on the Islamic Expansion and begin exploring the Rise of the Carolingians. We have a good deal of resources lined up for you below from Tariq bin Ziyad and Carloman Martel to the Holy Grail and the Codes of Honor.
Also a part of our lineup this week are Science, Logic and Art resources you can use at home to support what our students are learning in class. In Science, you get to hear a new song and figure out why hurricane storms spin the way they do. For those of you with students with Ms. Perry, you will learn the difference between a beat and a rhythm. We even found an audio read-aloud of The Goblin and the Grocer for Mrs. Burns’ students. Last but certainly not least, an informative video for our middle school art students.
It’s a full slate, so we’ll get started…
