Before we take off for the school year, we want to leave you with one last Wednesday Wonderings. A few weeks ago, our Primary classes dove deep into the world of Microbiology. One of our parents, Dr. Martinez, is a professor in the Biological Sciences Department at Calpoly, and he brought in with him a team of Calpoly students and several powerful microscopes.
The purpose of the project was to introduce our 1st and 2nd graders to the world of Microbiology. The students were absolutely amazed! They discovered that bacteria and germs live everywhere (some in unexpected places more than others!). Our kids learned why washing our hands with soap is so important!
What a memorable afternoon! Here are some photos for you…
Thank you, Dr. Martinez & team, for inspiring our Primary students!

I just love this. The looks on the faces of the kids says so much. What a great experience, and grateful that so many parents share their professional and personal gifts to the students.
I agree! So rad to have our unique resources!!
