Watermelon Thirst Quenchers

Nothing says summer like eating a ripe, juicy watermelon on a throat-parching day! With more warm days ahead of us next week, we thought we’d share a few watermelon drink recipes with you. You’ll find that most of these recipes are family-friendly but we did throw in a couple of parents only combinations because you know, it is summer and you’ve been with the kiddos all day :).

  1. I totally missed this blog post somehow. These all look delicious! We’ve been blending watermelon for breakfast all summer with just a touch of lime and it’s been the best. A fellow SLOCA mom gave me the tip of keeping a few cubes of frozen watermelon in the freezer and using that as “ice,” each time replacing the watermelon with room temp cubes. That way it doesn’t get watered down and the drink ends up being nice and fresh! We’ve added mint in too – yummers!
