Happy Monday! Chances are you read the title of this post and thought, “What do Moghul India and Galileo have to do with each other?” You might have also thought, “They spelled ‘Mongol’ wrong.” This week and next week our Primary and Intermediate students will be learning about The Moghal Empire, which was founded in 1526 by Babur, a descendant of the famous Mongol, Ghengis Khan. “Moghal” means Mongol in Persian. (*Note: “Mughal” is also an acceptable spelling.)
In addition to the Moghal Dynasty, Primary through Intermediate will explore and question with revolutionary scientist, Galileo Galilei. Our LMS will be going even more in-depth in their study of Galileo. And what about UMS you may ask. Well, Moghul India, Galileo, and the French Religious Wars seemed like way too long of a title. We will be back next Monday with some mix-ins specifically pertaining to what the UMS is studying.
So, without further ado, enjoy today’s Monday Mix-ins!
