The last couple of months have been busy at SLO Classical Academy! We had our History Day Wax Museum, our mini retreat Enjoy the Ride, and our Drive Thru BBQ benefit.
Up first, we have a few photos of our History Day. It was great to be able to gather as a school, see all the amazing costumes and hear all of the recitations. The Wax Museum featured notable people from history all the way from Gilgamesh to Ancient Roman times.
SLO Classical Academy staff and educators from our community were able to enjoy the wisdom and insight from professors of the classics and education at our recent mini retreat – Enjoy the Ride. If you missed our Down Home post from a couple of weeks ago be sure to check it out!
We also had our Drive Thru BBQ to benefit the newly formed High School Tackle Football Team. Between the Chili cook off and the Drive Thru BBQ the committee raised over $7000! Go Grizzlies!!!
