Wow – we are already a third of the way through our school year! To close out the first trimester, we celebrated all the great Renaissance artists we have been studying by bringing them to life. At our first History Day of the year, “Tableaux of the Masters,” students from grammar to high school created a tableau of a famous work of Renaissance art. Walking from room to room on campus, visitors quietly filed in to encounter the “works” of Caravaggio, DaVinci, Raphael, and many more. Such an amazing way to truly bring learning to life for our students. Enjoy this small sampling of the beauty at the event!
Do you recognize the works these are based on? Which tableau is most striking to you? We’d love to hear your thoughts in the comments!
