We have a short break coming up next week, and a longer one is not that far off! If you’re the type that likes to organize and make homeschool plans during the holidays, here’s something you might be interested in.
This handy tip comes from Homeschool Creations: make use of a Learning Jar. It’s an excellent way to put all those great learning manipulatives, card games, and educational toys you have lying around to good use! It adds a little variety and interest to your home day routine, and it can keep one child occupied when you need a few more minutes to work with another child.
Sounds like a great idea for younger kids, as well as for E&E activities.

Do you use a system like this on your home days? What activities would you put in a Learning Jar if you had one? Please share your suggestions in the comments below.
