Tomorrow is the 4th of July! There is a lot going on in our area and we will list some of those events below. But first, we wanted to highlight one of the most important documents in American history – the Declaration of Independence. If you haven’t done it before, try reading it out loud as a family!

Paso Pops – food vendors, carnival rides, wine-tasting, table decorating, and fireworks

4th of July Celebration – pancake breakfast, parade, food + craft vendors, games, and live music
Atascadero
Bluegrass Freedom Festival – featuring Snap Jackson and the Knock on Wood Players along with other bands
Cambria
American Legion Picnic in the Park – live music, relay races, pie-eating contests, raffles, bounce houses, and a pool party
Cayucos
July 4th in Cayucos – sand sculptures, faire, parade, BBQ, Bingo, and fireworks
Morro Bay
Family Fun Day – skateboard race, bike parade, paddle parade, carnival games, bounce houses, and prizes
Avila Beach
Pancake Breakfast & Doggie Parade – breakfast with puppy sitters so that everyone can bring their pets to the breakfast
Pismo Beach
Annual 4th of July Fireworks Celebration – DJ + music and VIP seating + McClintock’s BBQ dinner
Grover Beach
Summer Fun Day on the Beach – whales, shorebirds, and crafts
Arroyo Grande
4th of July in the Village – village band concert, hotdogs, lemonade, and ice cream
Nipomo
3rd Annual Jim Tefft Memorial 4th of July Parade – parade, pancake breakfast, vendors, and a free community BBQ
Santa Maria
Red, White, and Boom! Firework Show and Family Festival – arts + crafts, bounce houses, outdoor games, live music, and of course, fireworks
Lompoc
Spectacular Fireworks Show – live entertainment, food, and fireworks
Solvang
July 4th Parade & BBQ – floats, marching children, horses, motorcycles, BBQ, and a free concert
