Ella Wheeler Wilcox: a woman writer from Wisconsin. A poet known for her plain, rhyming style of verse; a poet published first as a teen and consistently throughout her life. Her poetry is optimistic and hopeful. Solitude is her most famous poem (page 102 of Classic Poetry) and its many memorable lines are almost lyrical as she writes about emotions, friendship, joy, and pain.

If you have any additional resources that have inspired you to focus on fine arts, please share those as well by leaving a comment below!
