Molly Kiely’s connection to SLOCA is both personal and professional: her son is a student, and his father is a teacher. Originally from Mammoth Lakes, she majored in Radio/TV/Film at CSU Northridge before moving to the Central Coast. For years, she worked at a local hot springs resort, serving guests in a culinary garden and nature lounge—sitting in a travel trailer under a sycamore tree next to the San Luis Creek, helping visitors find a bit of inner peace. She’s worked with SLOCA since 2010, when the marketing department began, but she officially joined the staff in 2025. Watching her son and his dad thrive at SLOCA has opened her eyes to the richness of classical education and its strong foundation for wild, wondrous minds.
