Our Fall History event, “Night on the Nile,” was an AMAZING way to wrap up our studies of ancient Egypt! History Days are always a special time for our school to ALL join together, from kindergarten all the way to high school! Each level focused on a different Egyptian “experience,” including scarab painting, working with hieroglyphs, creating a cartouche, a journey through the underworld and many other immersive experiences. These events not only put a metaphorical bow on this unit of study, but also create lasting memories for students of what they have learned. Enjoy some enchanting pictures from SLOCA’s night on the Nile!
