Hailey Wyand

Learning is about far more than good grades for Hailey Wyand. A Templeton native, Hailey grew up valuing education, but it wasn't until she attended college that she came to recognize learning as a journey to better oneself and the world. After graduating from Cal Poly with a B.S. in child development and a double minor in psychology and Latin American studies, Hailey spent time in Colorado as a nanny. She joined the SLOCA team in 2026, inspired by its emphasis on creating well-rounded humans and its commitment to character, wisdom, and lifelong learning. When she's not in the classroom, you can find Hailey in the pottery studio.
