Molly Saptono
UMS Math + Science Teacher (B) + Fridays
Molly Saptono has always wanted to be in the classroom. Growing up in Atascadero, she was raised by a family of readers and used to play pretend school with her friends at home. That passion for education led Molly to William Jessup University, where she earned her B.A. in Psychology. She is currently pursuing her M.A. in Teaching and her math teaching credential. Prior to joining the SLOCA staff in 2026, Molly worked as a long-term substitute teacher. What drew her to the SLOCA community? Our families’ dedication to education, our virtues, and our mission to teach students not what to think but how to think. Outside of the classroom, you can find Molly traveling around the globe. She’s already traveled to four of the world’s seven continents. More than halfway through!
