Let’s take a look back at our recent Trimester 1 History Day event, Voices of Our American Patriots. Each class memorized an inspiring poem, song, or speech from (or about) the time of the American Revolution, and guests moved from room to room to listen to the recitations. Wasn’t it fabulous?
(Everyone was especially blown away by the Upper Middle School students, who learned the ENTIRE Longfellow poem, Paul Revere’s Ride!)
All the students did a spectacular job memorizing and reciting such moving and patriotic pieces. Way to go, kids!
