“Be your character what it will, it will be known, and nobody will take it upon your word.”
~Lord Chesterfield
This month is a twofer: kindness AND respect! These are two traits that pair nicely together.
We will keep it short and sweet this month, as these virtues are typically easier to discuss and focus on (though not always as easy to practice…). But we do have a couple of quick links to share:
• Here’s one fun resource to help you intentionally pursue kindness in your family: 22 Kid-Approved Acts of Kindness.
• And here’s a homemade placemat idea and printable, to encourage respectful behavior at the table for young kids.
Finally, here are your mini-posters for this month’s character traits. Click on the links (or images) to access the pdf files. Then print, laminate (optional), and hang for an easy visual reminder:

We would love to hear how your family works on kindness and respect. Do you have any ideas to share? Please leave a comment!
