Here’s an inexpensive way to get out with friends and treat the kids to a fun morning: $1 movies! Regal Cinemas in Arroyo Grande is once again hosting the Summer Movie Express every Tuesday and Wednesday this summer. It’s been underway for a few weeks already, but here’s a link to the website where you can enter your zip code – or just enter 93420 to pull up the schedule for the Arroyo Grande theater, which is the closest participating theater.

- Movie Night at the Beach – featuring the movie Brave, hosted by Avila Bay Golf Resort this Friday, July 15th. Doors open at 7:00 pm and show starts at sunset. $5 admission at the door.
- The Jungle Book KIDS presented by the SLO Little Theater starting Friday, July 15th
- Ice Cream Zoofari at the Charles Paddock Zoo in Atascadero – Saturday July 16th, 5:30-8:30 pm
