It’s not much a throwback, but it does involve throwing! As we celebrate this official last day of SLOCA classes (for Track A yesterday, for Track B today), we have a handful of Primary and Intermediate Ultimate Frisbee photos to share. This was such a fun sport for our kids this trimester, and since we don’t have another “Wednesday Wonders” to showcase these photos, we are posting them today.
Here’s a quick story to share how much these young kids learned: After the Athlete’s Celebration, several of the kids were out on the field and a few college guys were out there throwing a frisbee around. They started playing with our kids, and at one point I walked out there and one of the young men said to me, “These kids are really good! They are great athletes!” Our SLOCA kids were beaming.
