San Luis Obispo Classical Academy San Luis Obispo Classical Academy

Welcome to Down Home, San Luis Obispo Classical Academy’s blog! We are a classical school offering several options to make our education work for families with infants through high schoolers. Our signature hybrid program, which is part-time classroom and part-time home instruction, provides an engaging education for preschool through middle school (with full time options available). We also have a university model high school. This blog is meant to support and encourage on the home front because, in so many ways, the heart of what happens at SLO Classical Academy happens down home.

Semper discentes—always learning together.

A Hidden Gem: scrumdilly-do!

{photos by Jessica Wilson}

Today we have a delightful resource to share with you, that will especially appeal to parents of young children. Our very own Jessica Wilson is not only a super-fun and creative teacher of our Little Wonders preschool class, but she also has a beautiful, bountiful blog of her own! Here you’ll find clever and inspiring crafts, projects, recipes, and activities to create imagination-filled moments of joy and wonder with your young ones. (Some of which come from her classroom, so you can see how much fun they are having!) Check it out, and share it with a friend:

Explore and enjoy! She has many holiday-themed ideas, including great St. Patrick’s Day activities, which is coming up… Thank you for sharing your blog and your wonderful ideas with us, Jessica!

Mrs. Wilson set up a photo booth for her students for Valentine’s Day, and she sent us this cute photo. Who can resist adorable kids?
