Happy Friday to all, and happy three weeks off from school!
Having just read Clown of God for literary analysis, and after learning a little about this book and author Tomie dePaola at our Trimester 2 Parent Literature Training, we were delighted to find that Tomie, who has written and/or illustrated over 200 books for children, has several Christmas/holiday books to his credit. Although many of his holiday stories are faith-based, there is much to appreciate in his work regardless of your family’s faith. So, if you enjoy this author and would like to read more books from him about Christmas and other holidays/legends around this time of year, check out the following list – some of these are out of print, but you can always look for them at the local library. We're trying something new and have provided Amazon links for more info – just click on the book image!
