Happy Friday, everyone – great job leaning back into school this week!
First, we want to remind you that our Down Home Pet Photo Contest is happening this month – download an entry form here (or get one from the SLOCA office), and CLICK HERE for all the rules and details if you have a child who’d like to enter a photo of their favorite animal for a chance to win $50! This is open to anyone in the community ages 5-18, so invite non-SLOCA friends and family too! We look forward to seeing all those beloved pets captured through student photography. And of course we will feature the winning photo here on the blog! The deadline for entry is April 30th.

It might help you decide which format to get when buying books for yourself or your kids. (Read it on your screen or print it to read on paper!)
