Basing decisions on practical wisdom and good sense, being dependable in carrying out commitments and duties, and being accountable for one’s words, behavior, and actions.
Catch phrase: Think before you act; finish what you begin; take responsibility for yourself.
With spring break coming up next week, we all know what follows… spring fever! It’s all too common for parents and students both to feel a little sluggish when we return to school after a week off. Before we give in to burnout (if it comes…), let’s remember this month’s character trait and commit to finishing this year with everything we’ve got. There are so many wonderful things in store for this trimester, so let’s model responsibility when it comes to learning this month, for and WITH our kids.
Action springs not from thought, but from a readiness for responsibility.
