SLOCA: Front Page News!
Did everyone see SLOCA on the front page of the Tribune yesterday? Here’s the online version of the article if you didn’t get a chance to read it. The article covered the expansion of our high school to the houses across Grand Avenue, and the unanimous approval we were granted from the SLO Planning Commissioners last week. Again, we are incredibly grateful to everyone who worked so hard to see this project through to this stage of expansion.
Not only are we thrilled to move ahead with our high school plans, we are also excited to see SLOCA get some great local press! It’s not every day that a successful school makes for front page news. We want as many people as possible in SLO county and beyond to know about our amazing classical program, our character-minded students, and the dedicated families who make it all possible.
This follows another fabulous article that we mentioned last week, in The Atlantic. The Atlantic is a highly acclaimed national magazine aimed at a target audience of serious readers and thought leaders. The Atlantic Monthly has been around for 150 years offering literary and cultural commentary. As you can imagine our school is thrilled to be highlighted in an article about education – here’s our link to that if you missed it.
SLOCA families, thank you for being part of our growing, thriving, wonderful community of lifelong learners. Feel free to share the above articles with your families and friends, and on social media!
SLO Classical Academy is not affiliated with any of the above mentioned businesses.
