We begin the evening with a DO NOT MISS event with our very own SLOCA parent, Brandy Swain, an educator for the Sheriff’s Department. Brandy will focus her talk on keeping kids safe in this advanced tech world we live in. Everyone, Tiny Wonders-High School, is invited to this portion of the evening. It will be followed by the required History and Literature training. Dr. Rocha will dive into the next phase of American History and Lisa Ann Dillon will explore Little Women, one of her favorite SLOCA reads!
6-6:45pm: Tech Presentation with Brandy Swain (all parents welcome)
7-8:30pm: History Lit Experience (required for parents of 1st – 8th graders)
7-8:30pm: History Lit Experience (required for parents of 1st – 8th graders)
WHAT TO BRING:
- A snack to share and/or a bottle of wine, a beer, or a beverage of your choice. Don’t forget that corkscrew and your reusable cup (leave no trace)!
- A sturdy notebook and a pen (we will provide colored pencils and markers)
- A cozy folding chair that you love (black folding chairs will be available)
