Annie Tolkamp

Executive Assistant to the Academic Dean

For Annie Tolkamp, working at SLOCA is a dream come true. Originally from La Palma, CA, she earned her B.A. in Biblical and Theological Studies from Biola University. While there, she had a major 'Aha!' moment during a discussion of Paradise Lost and realized how deeply she cared about learning and classic works of literature. She worked at Biola as the academic advisor for the School of Fine Arts & Communication before joining the SLOCA team in 2025. Annie loves that SLOCA lives out the virtues they teach and cares about the beauty of every space, both indoors and outdoors. Speaking of beauty, Annie is interested in fine-tuning her skills in textile arts, including embroidery, sewing, and knitting.
