Brigette Olmos

Development Director

An avid reader and traveler, Brigette Olmos learned to love learning right here on the Central Coast. A Cambria native, her childhood included nightly story times, frequent visits to museums, aquariums, and shows. On Sundays, her parents would even have “music appreciation” time over pancakes. She furthered her education at Pepperdine University, where she earned a B.A. in Liberal Arts with concentrations in communications and theatre arts. Before joining SLOCA in 2023, Brigette spent almost a decade at Cal Poly working in development, building donor relationships, growing boards, developing giving circles, and managing events. Working here allows her to combine her passion for liberal arts education with her strong background in fundraising. When not working, you can find Brigette out hiking, baking, planning her next trip, or getting cozy on the couch with her cat and a good book.
