Communication is always key. Just ask Carol Cossaboom. As a child growing up in Southern California, Florida, and Mexico, she was always fascinated by the conversations surrounding her. The desire to understand and contribute to her family’s dialogue ignited a thirst for learning that led to a degree in Paralegal Studies from Fullerton College. Before starting at SLOCA in 2025, Carol worked in accounting for a small, international start-up. So what made SLOCA and our classical education special? Its emphasis on communication. Communicating our knowledge and opinions positively and effectively to others is one of the most important ways we can contribute to our communities. Outside of SLOCA, Carol can most likely be found playing board games and making crafts with her family.
