Charles Marsh continues one of the strongest trends among SLOCA staff—he was raised by a family of teachers. Growing up in east San Diego County, his lifelong passion for learning arose from natural curiosity, coupled with a loving and supportive environment that allowed him to pursue that curiosity. This curiosity led Charles to Cal Poly, where he recently earned his B.S. in Computer Engineering, studying low-level cyber/hardware security. Charles joined the SLOCA team in 2026 and is excited about the school's thriving, supportive community and its holistic approach to education.
